Tour of the state rooms on the ground floor of the castle:
Entrance Hall, Knights’ Hall, Golden Hall, Mühlgrub Parlour, Dining Room, Games Room, Library, Oak Staircase, Estate Manager’s Office, Sacristy, Chapel of St Anne and the Antechamber to the Chapel.
Standard tours without advance booking are conducted in Czech. Visitors can borrow a printed English guide to the tour from the ticket office for the duration of their visit.
Bookings for group tours with an English-speaking guide, available from April to October, can be made from January by calling +420 495 441 244 (Czech only) or emailing vuurenova.anna@npu.cz. Please book well in advance.
The tour takes approximately 50 minutes. The maximum group size is 25 people.
This tour is wheelchair accessible.
In April, the castle is open at weekends from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. On weekdays, tours are available for pre-booked groups only.
In May and June, the castle is open from Tuesday to Friday from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, and on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
In July and August, the castle is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
In September, the castle is open from Tuesday to Friday from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, and on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
27 September 2026: Dear visitors, we are delighted by the enormous interest in our Special Free Admission Days. All available places at Hrádek u Nechanic Castle have now been booked for both dates. However, we recommend checking the National Heritage Institute’s online ticket portal regularly, as additional tickets may become available if any bookings are cancelled.
